Reading Youth Band will be a positive, safe space for young people to aspire to the highest standards of brass and percussion music making.
As such, all our tutors have DBS clearance and are provided with training on safeguarding and child protection issues.
A concert will be held at the end of each school term. This will provide an excellent opportunity for parents/carers to listen to their child’s musical progress and for our ensemble of young brass and percussion musicians to gain valuable performance experience within a positive and safe environment.
There is a membership fee of £50 per school term which is payable in advance.
