In December 2024, the trustees of Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band appointed Stephen Bucknell as the new Musical Director.
Stephen is originally from Devon but now lives in Windsor with his wife Georgia, who also plays in the band. He studied at Salford University under Dr Brett Baker and Tom Davoren and is currently a professional Euphonium player. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf.
