St Paul’s Church, also known as the Actors’ Church in Covent Garden, London welcomed back Sarcoma UK for their annual Christmas Carol Concert on Wednesday 8th December.

The evening was filled with fabulous Christmas music from Enchorus, Victoria Joyce, Mark Llewelyn Evans and Lance Ellington which was interspersed with familiar Christmas readings and poetry from Johnny Ball, Robert Powell, Sandra Dickinson and husband Mark Osmond.

Often referred to as ‘the forgotten cancer’, Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma and campaigns for better treatments.
The evening heard from the courageous and inspirational Gareth Emmerson in an interview presented by Gavin Ramjaun. Gareth has battled Ewing sarcoma since 2014 and in November 2020 his diagnosis became terminal. Learn more about Gareth’s story in the video below.

It was a great privilege for the Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band to be invited to perform and be a part of such a special festive event and help raise much needed money and awareness of sarcoma cancer.
