We are thrilled to have qualified for the national finals for the first time in 65 years under the baton of our conductor, Matthew Ruel!
After securing a proud second-place finish at the London & Southern Counties regional contest, we are now set to compete at the national finals at Cheltenham Racecourse this September.
Our journey to this historic milestone has been filled with hard work and dedication, and we’ve overcome numerous challenges, including the aftermath of the coronavirus crisis. But now, we need YOUR help to reach the finish line.
Your generous donations will help cover:
- Entry fee to the national finals
- Purchase of the set test piece
- Hire of tuned percussion equipment for rehearsals
- Additional rehearsal space hire
It’s important to note that our band is a labour of love, made up entirely of volunteers – no one, including our conductor, is paid.
