The trustees of Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band are pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Bucknell as the bands new MD.
Stephen is originally from Devon but now lives in Windsor with his wife Georgia. He studied at Salford University under Dr Brett Baker and Tom Davoren and is currently a professional Euphonium player. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf.
The band have enjoyed a few rehearsals under Stephen’s baton, including a first look at the 4th section regional test piece “I, Daedalus”, and are looking forward to working with him.
